Jeg savner lidt en 'liste' eller 'dialog-box', hvor man kan høre alle styles igennem og på den måde vælge hvad der passer til den sang/akkorder som man har programmeret.....findes det?

Jeg er godt nok guitarist, men jeg kender en fyr, der har en tyros. Her er det nemt at danne sig et overblik over, hvilke muligheder man har....lidt det jeg mangler....:-)
Hej Megamads Efterhånden som mængden af styles er vokset kan det tage rigtig lang tid at finde lige det, du har brug for, men der findes dog hjælp! Prøv at trykke på stilarter og åbn Stilvælgeren. Øverst til venstre har du en knap, hvor der står Filter. Et tryk på knappen åbner dialogen Stilvælger filter. Her kan du bl.a. filtrere efter Genre, Fornemmelse , Tempo etc. Ofte kan man indsnævre antallet af relevante stilarter ret meget.
En anden (og lidt ældre metode), kan også være nyttig. Hvis du har fundet en stilart, som har det rigtige tempo og fornemmelse, men alligevel ikke er helt rigtig kan i midterfeltet se at nogle stilarter har en stjerne (*). Det betyder at de har samme fornemmelse og næsten samme tempo, som den først valgte stilart. Desuden er der en knap under dette felt som hedder søg. Den er ofte ret nyttig, da den søger både i stilartnavn og i beskrivelsen af stilarten. Hvis du fx søger noget a'la Dire Straits, - prøv at skrive Dire, -det giver en del hits.
Du efterlyser en hurtigvisning. Den findes! Afkryds feltet Hurt. visn. v/dobb. klik og dobbeltklik på en stilart.
Og endelig kan man som noget forholdsvist nyt selv sammensætte sine stilarter med instrumenter (både Real og MIDI) fra alle stilarter. Det er en metode jeg ofte selv benytter. Et emne jeg tager op i en ny tråde. Håber du er blevet hjulpet, - ellers skriv igen.

Genialt svar....rigtig fint. Når jeg får lidt erfaring, så begynder det hele nok at glide lidt nemmere....
Jeg får en fornemmelse af, at din Biab er på dansk. Er den det og hvis ja, så hvordan?......er det fordi jeg bruger en mac måske.

Jeg på fornemmelsen , at Biab kan utroligt meget, men hold da op en stejl læringskurve man udsættes for.....ikke meget der er baseret på brugerens intuition....;-)
Der er forskel på Mac og Windows udgaverne. Bl.a findes Mac udgaven ikke med dansk tekst. Windows BIAB har lidt flere funktioner, dog ikke nogen man normalt vil savne. Bl.a. kan man ikke optage audio på Mac BIAB, men det er jo ikke et problem for Mac brugere, som jo har Garage Band ganske gratis. Jeg ved ikke om du har prøver det, men man kan trække BIAB instrumenterne (drag'n drop) direkte ind i Garage Band, og hvis det er MIDI filer bruge de vellydende virtuelle instrumenter.

Du har fuldstændig ret! Band-in-a-Box kan rigtig meget og jeg er sikker på, at du ikke kan undvære programmet, når du først har fået lært det vigtigste. Indlæringskurven er ret stejl, men et par timers undervisning kan gøre underværker. Se her Lindbjerg Musikproduktion
