Hi jt3, I'm a regular user of midi drums and have not had the issue you describe. I notice that in another thread, Keith From Oz suggested forcing midi drums via the Realdrum Picker. That should work. Maybe it doesn't save, though. (I'm not sure about this and will need to test it to see.) My set up is a little different. What I have done is to deactivate the automatic substitution of Realdrums for midi drums. To do this ... 1. Go to "Opt" (1) and select "Preferences". 2. From the Preferences menu (2), select "Realdrums" (3) and then from that menu, disable the automatic substitution (4).  I've personally found that if I use a midi style as a starting place, I'd rather select my own Realdrums. Hope this helps, Noel
