I think Band in a Box is a great tool to better your sight reading tools, but there is one thing I am having a problem with. It has to do with the Melodist and repeats or loops.

Normally the Melodist is very good about letting you see the next bar at the top of the screen, when you've reached the last bar in the Notations Window or Lead-sheet window. However, it fails when dealing with repeats or loops. At least it does on my machine. I assume the same thing will happen on yours.

That is, my method for doing a repeat (loop) is as follows:

Toggle to the Main window (Ctrl+W). This is the window with all the chords.
Highlight the bars you are interested in.
Select the play loop icon (middle of middle toolbar).
Switch back to Notation Window or you can also switch to the Leadsheet Window if preferred.

With the above instructions I begin my loop but when it reaches the end of what can be seen on screen, it doesn't show the first bar of what your about to jump to until it's actually time to play it.

Perhaps there are additional switches that can be flipped to solve this, but I've tried the obvious ones with no success. I am curious to know if others have the same problem.

Anyone have a solution?
