I experienced loss of sound for more than one program at a time early in my experience with the AudioBox USB. For example, I could hear my DAW, but not youtube. A driver update was among the things that were tried. The problem was eventually solved, but I can't say for certain what caused it or what fixed it.

Make sure that the Windows mixer, or whatever utility might be included with your onboard sound card (not the AudioBox), aren't muted or at zero volume.

Presonus support is excellent, and they also have a very active user forum. I'd suggest trying that if you don't get any conclusive solution here.
