Hello PG Music. Please taken a listen to my latest song Seasons of My Time. I arranged song in Band-in-a-Box then uploaded to RealBand using Real Tracks along with BiB strings, guitar. https://soundcloud.com/carolyne-swayze/seasons-of-my-time714 Piano- Acoustic Rhythm-Miles Black 712 Acoustic Bass- Bossa- Neil Swainson Bossa Brushes #1 Real Drums Mixed in : PG Dynamic Main Mix Gentle Opto Leveling; PG Ten Band EQ; and, then loaded a WAV and MP3 using Audacity. Wasn't until I tried to upload this song that I realized I missed the fact that I won a PG Music 2012 Showcase Award. I hope you like this one...a little different. Not too often do we have spoken word with music. This is like the beat poetry of the 60's to some degree.
BTW: shoot PG an email... they might still be holding that prize for you.... I was several weeks late in discovering this myself..... they sent it right out.

Hi Carolyne,
Ahhh the spoken word backed by a cool track. It held my attention for the entire 6 minutes, and that is saying something. As noted already this was very cleverly written and soothingly (if that is a word) performed.
Have you posted anything else here in the past, I can't remember seeing or hearing any of your work before?
Back to the composition it was very refreshing indeed, I can't wait to hear more.

Hi Danny, Thanks for listening and the kind words. Yes, I have posted before. In fact, I won the 2012 Showcase Award. I can't believe that, I've never won anything. I didn't even know until I uploaded Seasons of My Time. Another song of mine is Syd's Song. You have also helped me tremendously, because I haven't known how to describe my latest creation. Your reference to "the spoken word, backed by a cool track" has made the day. I hope you won't mind my using the quote.
