Hi DJK,

If it is a Realtrack Soloist with which you are working, it's possible to have it play in multiple regions of the song but, to do this, it's necessary to save the solo as a wav file and then edit this wav file using 'copy and paste' in an external DAW. Realband is excellent for this. Once you have the wav file exactly how you'd like it to sound, it's possible to use it to create a 'Performance track'. These tracks were a new feature of BIAB in version 2013.

What I normally do is to create backing tracks in BIAB. I then transfer these tracks to my DAW (I use a combination of Realband and Reaper). Once in my DAW, I then modify the individual tracks as needed, mix them and save them as wav files to be used as backing.

If you have a listen to any of the songs in my signature, you'll hear musical motifs recurring throughout the song. How I achieved this was simply to copy and paste a motif that I liked at relevant locations in the song.

Hope these thoughts help,
Noel
