Hey Don....

Well...my posted opinion was tempered a bit.
I noticed the very same thing more than once over a few days.

Personally, as with many here, I played in live bands for many years doing pretty much all original material (except for a few select covers).

So, if I ever thought that I (or my material) was good enough to participate in a venue of that nature I would make sure that I could actually perform my original material as close to perfect as possible without the idle banter.
But, that's just me. smile

EDIT: did I mention I'd be just short of terrified to perform solo and not have my guitar and/or my trap set while in a band to hide behind.
