I don't know what is causing this problem, but here are a few thoughts.

I use Vista and have no problem with it, except the annoying but harmless Access Violation message after closing BIAB.

Are you using Vista 32 or 64? Are you running with administrator rights?

Have you tried to restore BIAB to its defaults? First, do Opts, Save Preferences. Then do Opts., Return to Factory Settings. Exit BIAB and restart.

If this doesn't help, can you post the offending file and we can try it? Also, tell us which Real Tracks you are using. Does the problem only happen with this one file?

Do you have any trouble with any other program on your computer? If so, you might be experiencing a problem with your RAM. Other things to check are to make sure you have no spyware or viruses on your computer, and no unnecessary processes running in the background.
