I'm sending you a PM with my email address, if you would like to send me the offending file to try on my system.

About Jazzman's suggestions (which I always listen to very carefully), I run BIAB on two PCs running Vista 32, and one has the sidebar with gadgets and one does not. It doesn't seem to make a difference. Although it is one more drain on system resources, that would more likely result in glitches than in a total failure of one file.

Are you running BIAB version 2009, latest build #282 (Help, About)?

One thing you could check: in Options, Preferences, Real Tracks, there is a Verify button in the lower right to see if all files are in the right place. You're not using a custom file location, are you? (same dialog box)

Along the same lines, although you didn't say whether you are using Real Drums, there is a diagnostic tool for that, too, in Options, Preferences, Real Drums. Check the checkbox for Developer Mode. This will produce a text file that would show any errors produced by generating the Real Drums for that song. We used this during beta testing back in around 2007 when Real Drums were new. Be sure to uncheck the box for normal operation.
