I take it that you are using drag 'n' drop. Is that correct? I regularly save my BIAB tracks as WAV files and then simply load them into my DAW. Doing it this way, the count-in is always present.

Noel I also drop and drag MIDI files in Sonar and the count in is always included in the track's transfer. It was a long time ago that I did this, but if I remember correctly, there is an option somewhere that allows the count in to be included. I am not at my music computer so I can’t look it up but later today if time permits I will try to look it up.
I think my wife has started to show the first signs of dementia.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
