Bud: I have to say that the arrangement and mix are incredibly authentic sounding and reminded me of blues and jazz music from the 1930s. When I closed my eyes, it was like I was listening to one of my grandfather's old 78 rpm record minus all the scratching and hissing. It's incredible how you've managed to capture that sound. I don't know how you did it, but it works really well. Janice: If I was in my school teacher mode right at this minute, I'd be whipping out the gold stars for your performance. It's always a joy to listen to you sing. The ease with which you weave words with melody is wonderful to my ears. You two should be getting Grammy awards for your music. Seriously. Noel, thanks for noting the effort we put into trying to give it that 30's vibe. I listened to some Dixieland for a while before I started the mix to see if I could get the right mindset for it. Glad that it worked for you. Your "Grammy praise" really stopped us in our tracks (pun intended). gruverider Expert Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 1,831	you definitely nail the arrangement! I can say I could not have captured it as well and I've listened to a lot of it. Maybe you could share a completely out of genre tree frog, bird call, wolf-brass, woodwind, wonder-song?

It's always great to hear how other Band-in-a-Box® users create their songs, especially when they explain in detail what they're doing. His latest video, Next-Level AI Music Editing with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
