Depends much on the Style file chosen, Allen.
There are some Jazz styles where the comping follows the jazz tradition of not always playing the 5 in the chord.
And - that rule isn't sacrosanct, by any means. Sometimes a great jazz pianist will indeed elect to play the 5th of the chord from time to time, adding the power of the Resultant.
