Two things to try; Set the track type to Audio Mono before recording, then you should be able to pan it To me, since the VUs in PT show input signal on only one side, it sounds like the issue is inside the MBox, like you have mixer settings set to pan left for the channels you are feeding to PT. Read pages 35 - 39 of the manual http://akmedia.digidesign.com/support/docs/Mbox_Pro_User_Guide_v90_69711.pdf
