Hi Godfrey, I would love to have seen your face when you first started a song playing in BIAB 2013. There's been a lot of water under the proverbial bridge since version 2007 and the sound has changed incredibly! In relation to your question ... By default, BIAB automatically substitutes Realtracks for MIDI when a song is loaded. To disengage that, go to Opt | Preferences, click on the "Realtracks" button and remove the check mark from "Auto replace MIDI styles ..."  That should do the job for you. All the best, Noel
