This is an interesting topic. Although we encounter all sorts of ways to write chord symbols, we each have our preferences. You could put in a Wishlist post to create a new font with the modifications you like. Perhaps PG Music can address this down the line. Well, now I like the good ol' fat Jazz Chord Symbols just fine after all.
