I was wondering..next year when I consider just going for the Christmas season discount Everything PAK for about 159.00 will it be easily installed just to give me the new tracks that I don't have? I just bought the Audiophile and obviously I wouldn't want to overwrite any wave files with the compressed files. Also maybe in a few years I might just want to buy another audiophile to give me all of the waves. So at that time I would like to replace the compressed files I have at that point. I am sure this is all worked out. Let me know about that aspect if possible. I am just curious about this.

Looks like I see a special offer to update the audiophile for 199.00. That is what I will do. Sounds like a good deal to get in on that. Maybe just scratch my question!!

Hi Sly

Appreciate your enthusiasm!

You probably need to wait until the next release, and then review both its advantages and your options at that time.

The next release might be 2015 or it might be 2014.5. Nobody knows yet.

Check out what's available at the next release, then decide how much you can use.

Hope this helps

lol, well I already know even before I receive my hard drive with all of my Real Tracks that I want MORE MORE MORE!! I am just looking forward to writing some songs again and this time with my horizons open to much more than I ever had in the past. All I have had was my basic strum on my guitar. Some arpeggio syle to some everyday chords. Now I have at my fingertips much more. So yes I am greedy!

Just looking into the future some that is all. I should have held back that question really. Too many questions spoil the BiaB soup. I just showed my Uncle this program and he was impressed. At any rate I do hope to be a yearly buyer of these tracks. I don't know about doing the .5 purchases. I think I can hold out to once a year.

I did find out tonight on that Band in a Box wikipedia article that RealTracks came out in 2007 I believe. So this is the 7th year for them being in production. So that is why I went for the Gold and bought the Audiophile edition right away because I am getting so many years worth of them at once and others have bought into them yearly for years. So I get a truckload for a fair price.

You have every reason to be excited SlyRuby! I don't have the audiophile version but I can tell you without any reservations that you are going to love this program!

And the upgrades, whenever you purchase one are a breeze to install. Don't worry, be happy. You've made an excellent investment.

Watch the tutorial videos. And dive in.

Looking forward to you joining us on the users showcase to share some of your creations.

It is the most amazing program I have ever used, and even though after a decade I fully understand about 10% of it, that has been enough to allow me to exceed my innate musical limitations. And it is incredibly fun.

Thanks everyone for the great comments. My car isn't here right now so I have to get on my bicycle to ride down to the post office to get it. The other day I rode down there and it turned out the post office was closed even though the paper that was in my mailbox said available now. lol. So this is it. I will go pick it up and my days of a Producer, Songwriter, Composer, Cinger, musician, Record Company owner, Business Magnate has just begun lol.

I might put some instrumentals on that website SoundCloud I think it is. I have an account there but never have used it. I really don't plan on putting them up as instrumentals really. I think after I compose, write, and record a collection of songs for my first album and then register it with the Copyright office then I will put those up. I want to put my words and music to it all. So this may be a year or more away. It depends. But I do have a collection of country songs I wrote. And I have copyrighted already. So I will see about producing those in BiaB soon. I don't plan on being a fake country singer or anything. But I still have my songs that are pretty good. I say fake is because I put a little accent to my voice when I sing them. Though I might see about working those songs into another genre. See what I can do with them. But I do have that collection registered at the copyright office. Anyway that is how I want to do it. Of course you want to protect your words and music the best that you can.

Maybe I will put some of these quick BiaB songs I do that I only take a few minutes with on SoundCloud soon though come to think of it. I do like taking my chord wizard and appropriating some nice chord progressions and finding a Style to match it. No effort and you get some cool sounding instrumentals. I created one last night I called Hearts of Fire...I got the chord progression from Blondie's Heart of Glass my Uncle's favorite singer. I wanted to let him here what I could make from a couple Blondie songs to see how he liked it. He was impressed with it. But yes later I am putting more effort into it than that. I want to do all of the sectioning of the verses and chorus. Putting the markers on them. Making some instrument changes. Giving my track some musicianship. So that will all come in time getting to know this program.

Ok I will get to pedaling for my BiaB hard drive down at the post office. Wish me luck!! lol

Thanks,
Sly
