I'm also a veteran of the AF Band program. In my early AF days I was stationed at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. I used to play piano with a sax player and drummer at a strip club in downtown Honolulu. Since I'm of Asian descent, the powers that be thought I was a local guy. Military personnel weren't allowed to play civilian gigs in those days. It was a great experience. Later, Ray Ray, I was not supposed to be playing local gigs either, especially in a club that was "off limits" so I used the "I did not know that answer" when caught and we both know how far that went in the military.
