I don't have a dog in this fight, I already own Total Studio 3 which had all the ST sound lib add-ons/re-tanks. I wouldn't push here, at PG, but PG bundled the free Amplitube at one time as well as ST Free. In any case, the group buy end's on 16th - looks like it is within 25 buyers to get all three free additional add-ons and yes they work with the Free version of ST. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/xtgb/Just letting folks know. A really good deal if you use the SampleTank player that comes with BIAB.
I purchased the OmniSynth gm sound module then acoustic guitar and electric guitar modules for the two free add-ons. That's already more than 2.5 Gigs of Hi-Q midi sounds that I'm sure I'll be using with BIAB.
Larry, would you suggest the piano or bass add-on if the sales goal is reached?

Jim The sales goal was reached, today looks like: so EACH $14.99 spent gets your FOUR modules (the one you buy and three freebies) of course, if you hate the sounds it is immaterial what the cost was. I'd love to be able to give you a definitive review but I don’t use ST exclusively, or intently, so my opines on this topic are not real useful. There are some useful bases and keys in those two libs, and some that I wouldn’t even consider, nothing world class but depending on what you already have, or not, they might be a step up but YMMV (sorry for the lack of true insight here). Larry, Thanks for taking the time to update the posting and provide demo links. I'll most likely get the piano unless I change my mind while visiting the site.  I have the free Kontact player and starter sounds that comes with it and SampleTank as I am just starting the sample library journey. I'm more familiar with using SampleTank so I couldn't pass up this opportunity to really boost the instrument list.

Thanks Larry,
Am I right in thinking that I can just load any of these sets into a biab midi track and it will just play, being triggered by the biab midi notes?
I do understand that with the exception of the Onmisynth 2 its not general midi compatible and would have to be set up individually for each track.
I do have dimensions pro as well, but this seems a good deal not to miss.

Axe Away from pc (typing on cell phone which will double typos) First omnisynth IS GM, and there is an old thread here somewhere about how to use it, but there is a supplied "script" with it that you use first , load up a drum kit on channel/slot 10 before hitting play on BIAB and off you go edited: found thread (using Omnisynth in SampleTank) http://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=185603&page=4As far as the other sound addon "re-tanks" yep just load up a sound (bass a, piano c, trumpet k, etc.) On whatever channel you want from any lib you want and you can mix/match between and among libs Edit add: If you read the WHOLE thread above, you'll see where I mention that the DXi caused issues for me but VSTi didn't. Well nothing has changed at least FOR me: DXi STILL causing issues, so I only run SampleTank VSTi. Larry
