If you move your song file to RealBand you'll have more control over the drom holds.

Some drum RealTracks support RealBand's multiriff feature that let's you select a portion of a track and then will offer multiple choices to audition. You can select as many choices as you like and either replace what exists in the current track or have each choice move to an unused track.

When the drumtrack does not support multiriff you can still select just the bar(s) you want to change and audition each change until you find a hold you like. Once you've made all your changes then you can freeze the track.

There have been multiple requests for multiriff to be added to BIAB and for more variety in the drumtrack holds and shots. I want to say there have also been requests to add partial track regeneration in BIAB but I think that BIAB may now have that capabilty or it maybe a low priority since RealBand has the capabilty.
