I often want to work on a particular instrument (B,P,D,G,S or M) in more than one way. If I am fine-tuning the strings part, I may want to edit notation, adjust volume and VST and do other stuff all as part of a single process and all for that one part. Coordinating the focus of the notation and other functions could make this smoother.
For instance, when I click SOLO for the guitar part in the mixer, let that serve notice to every part of BiaB that guitar is where I am focused. Let the notation show the Guitar part when I go there. Let the G part be highlighted in the mixer and on the radio button across the top.
Likewise when I call up the G part in notation, let all the other areas - mixer, radio buttons, be and focused highlighted that way.
