Hi Bert,
Sorry about doubling up on #5 and the other confusion. I should have proofread my work more thoroughly.
When I ran the default installation, I had SampleTank 2.5 checked and went with that. I didn't need to register Sampletank again.
I use d:\bb like you. Simply change the c:\bb and c:\Realband to d:\bb and d:\Realband.
I've just started up the USB drive and looked at the Custom Installation.

I've never used Custom Installation before but the configuration I have checked should be all that you need to install. It would be worth trying.
Hope this helps,
Noel
I have followed your instructions as best I could Noel. However, Hi-Q files still cannot be found. Note that the default location for Hi-Q files came up as drive D, even though the instructions for the installation noted that the default location for these files is usually drive C. I assume that it came up as Drive because BB and Realband were installed on Drive D. I accepted the default that it gave me (Drive D), but Hi-Q files still cannot be found. When I click on "Show Folder" it shows the files to be in d:\bb\dx settings, but apparently Sampletank is looking for the files in it's own directory on Drive C.
I am totally confused (and frustrated) at this point!
Perhaps I should just start from scratch and totally uninstall BIAB, sampletank etc and reinstall it all to the computer hard drive, using the default locations. (Even though I am loathe to install applications to Drive C).
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
