Hi all
does anybody have problems with style picker(browse all styles) when i use it ,it works for a minuet then i get, cannot create file"G:\a_found.LS3"access denied@004260FA

Hi Dave,
Have you updated BIAB to the latest build? (#379)
Also, have you installed part of BIAB into the "Program files" section of your c: drive?

i have got the 379 update and all my BIAB is loaded in G drive which is Ultra plus pak in a PG hard drive.
are you saying style picker works ok on your computer
another thing i have just found is that settings on the asio page and the real tracks page will not keep there settings when i shut down and restart biab

That message is telling you that the program tried to write a file, and was denied permission. Normally it would be writing that a_found.ls3 file to your G:\bb directory, but your message above has it as the G:\ root folder.
In any event, perhaps an antivirus program or a windows setting is preventing writing to your USB drive? Try copying files within the drive yourself.

Hi Dave,
Everything works fine for me.
Following on from Peter's post, what antivirus software do you use? Also, as Peter suggested, did you try copying a file (any kind of file will do) to g:\ to see if your computer lets you do that.
Lastly, something that might be worth a try is to ...
(a) go to the \bb folder
(b) locate BBW.EXE
(c) right-click on the file and select Properties
(d) set Administrator privileges
To be honest, I can't see how setting Admin privileges will help in this instance but it's worth a shot.

thanks for your help and advice,every thing is working fine all the small faults have gone,so what did i do i found that the disc had been delivered so i thought i would revert to 2013 version and update to 2014 using the new disc and this seems to have done the trick,this is without running it to much but the main fault that i was asking about running the style picker is working fine
