Hi Dave,
Everything works fine for me.
Following on from Peter's post, what antivirus software do you use? Also, as Peter suggested, did you try copying a file (any kind of file will do) to g:\ to see if your computer lets you do that.
Lastly, something that might be worth a try is to ...
(a) go to the \bb folder
(b) locate BBW.EXE
(c) right-click on the file and select Properties
(d) set Administrator privileges
To be honest, I can't see how setting Admin privileges will help in this instance but it's worth a shot.
