Hi,

Saw some problems others were having with the GTrack (and other USB mics) as far as using ASIO, etc. As many of you know, the GTrack mic is actually an interface, in that it not only provides a mic-in via usb, but also has a line-in jack for instruments and a headphone jack for monitoring, along with volume knobs. Anyway, solved the issue, as others had, by switching over to MME drivers. I then went on to record vocal tracks on a couple of different sequenced songs, monitoring everything through the GTrack's headphone out, and things worked very well for a couple of days worth of recording.

Now however, I find I am no longer able monitor song playback in Realband using the GTrack, even though 1.) I haven't knowingly changed any settings in the program, 2.) the individual track VU meters as well as the master VU meters all show audio being played back, 3.) all relevent tracks are not muted, 4.) all mixer page settings seem to be where they should be, with track faders up, etc. I've tried this on many different songs with the same result. Tried closing down both RB and Windows but I get the same result. (I should add that I CAN hear the RB audio if I plug my headphones back into the computer's headphone jack).

Yet here's the kicker; if I open up BIAB and play those same songs, they all monitor through the GTrack just fine.

The audio settings for RB and BIAB are identical, and are using MME drivers. Anyone have any thoughts on where I might be going wrong?

Thanks.

Terry
