Peter Gannon mentioned in a post not so long ago that the activation is hardware dependent.

PG Music have also made it very clear that they appreciate that circumstances are not the same for every customer. They won't see you stranded. If you use up your activations, simply get in touch with them (details are under the "Support" link at the top of the page).

If this was me, I'd send a quick email to support@pgmusic.com and ask them what's the best way to activate BIAB for this system. Why not try that?
