Was showing Band-in-a-Box to a guitarist friend and we were going through some of the styles together (I'm a keyboardist)...
We tried to set up a screen with:
1 the Lead sheet window on top (Bass Track)
2. Big Piano in the middle (Piano Track)
3. Guitarist on the bottom (Guitarist Track)
Oops - select a track in any window, all windows share that track.
Would be nice to be able to select different tracks in at least two windows.
Afterthought: Would be nice to be able to open multiple instances of a window (e.g. Leadsheet, Guitarist) - that way, with a multiple monitor setup, each player (say a trio - bass, guitarist, keyboardist) could have the leadsheet (chords, melody) and another window (bass, guitar). Great teaching tool for working with students in duo/trio/quartet situations; of course, you can share the leadsheet on multiple monitors now...

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
