Upon further listening and having integrated this into several places in the song along with multiple regenerations, I do tend to hear the band try to get busier to accompany the faster tempo (presumably). I think I fixed this by placing a "hold" on the FMaj7... and the E7(#5)... Seems to eliminate the embellishments. Over all I think it was a success!
