Sly you are on to something here. One idea i had was to use Powertracks for this since it is very inexpensive. $49 for the basic program. PT is the same as RB without all the BiaB engine generation stuff. Very cool program to have. I know Silvertones runs it side by side with RB for live shows so he can cue up a request song without messing up his set list. SO they do not even have to strip down RB, they could start with PT, and build a straight Kar machine from that. I sometimes download them and add them to an existing midi with lyrics by matching the tempos, and make my own real nice files. http://www.karaoke-version.com/Good idea on the .kar player from PG.
