This, my latest song, is posted twice at Soundcloud, this one being a BB/RB version. Thanks for listening. I appreciate any and all feedback. http://soundcloud.com/blushasta-music/joy-of-life-joie-de-vivre Can't tell you how excited I am about BB and RB! Adding these instruments is of course what I was hoping to be able to do. Thank you, thank you Guitarhacker for posting your songs. The vocal track on this mix is not a keeper, has noise in it and mistakes, it was just a quick one-take for blending the fiddle part(s). I did leave the count in sticks on purpose though. So this was generated in BB and RB, exported wav files to Sonar and mixed there. Real Drums: Nashville Classic Waltz Real Tracks: 1122 Acoustic Bass 1701 Acoustic Piano 827 Acoustic Guitar 2119 Soloist Fiddle (5 tracks using automation)

Hi Olemon, I liked it very much. There is a huge contingent of Cajun and Zydeco fans in the UK which surprised me. In fact, www.motagator.com is owned by a fiddler/squeezebox playing friend. There are virtually hundreds of bands/artists over there. You may want to audition some of them. Cajun music is very happy music, foot-tapping and very enjoyable. Thanks for posting yours. Well done.

Very nice job.
Trying to catch up on all the tunes I missed....
Sounds good so far.... now just work that vocal into the mix a bit and you have an excellent song. Since you said the vox was a scratch I'll withhold my comments until the final version on this is done.
Loved the story line of the song. That's a great story.

Hey folks thanks for the feedback. More parts in French occurred to me too.
Do you find the fiddle too prevalent? In my BIAB mixes I think I am over-using the instruments or I'm on the verge of overusing them. So I'm trying to avoid that.
Thanks again. This is probably the next song I'll tackle.
