Why is it that so many of the jazz RealStyles have the drummer using brushes? It is really quite a search to find styles that use sticks on a ride cymbal, the hi-hat playing a strong offbeat and fills on the snare - particularly difficult to find in swing styles.

My experience in jazz says that brushes are not the norm. In fact, I know several jazz drummers who do not even take brushes on a gig! The norm is as I described in my first paragraph, except for maybe accompanying female vocalists.

I have tried substituting drum styles but I find it a pretty long-winded process. With the Bass you have the ability to "Assign RealTracks to Track" and that process is quick and works fine. Why is the same facility not listed for drums? Is it a different process maybe?

What I need is all the jazz RealTrack rhythm sections for all tempos from 50-250 (important!) but with sticks instead of brushes available at a click. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this, umm, anomaly and what they do to get around it?

It is not a problem with midi styles - in fact I like the midi drums styles much better but obviously they do not 'swing' as well or sound as real.

While I am talking about what I guess are called the RealCombos, I would also like all the styles available as trios or quartets(with the guitar playing rhythm rather than comping), all tempos 50-250.

I really think this would improve the Band-in-a-Box offering for us jazz types if these were standard rather than having to construct them.
