These are all good ssuggestions but the pdf printer does work. Why don't you try downloading the last release of the 2013 version (I think it's 366) and try again.
If all else fail, you can always return to factory settings. That will make sure you don't have a corrupted setting somewhere.
Pdf does work, but TV I still prefer cutepdf
