Hey all! I'm using PowerTracks 11. I recently downloaded Amplitube 3 from IK Mulitimedia, specifically so I could get the Fender Twin Reverb amp and the '63 Reverb stomp box--I'd been searching for YEARS for a decent spring reverb simulator.

Long story short, my Amplitube and the associated items downloaded from IK's Custom Shop are all authorized, and there are absolutely no problems whatsoever when I'm recording in PowerTracks, and during playback.

The problem starts, however, AFTER I "merge tracks to stereo wave file." When I play back that file, I get intermittent "white noise" static every ten or so seconds.

Again, this does not happen when I'm using it in PowerTracks--it only appears in the WAV file that was generated from PowerTracks from the "merge tracks to stereo wave file." (I've also tried the other merges, such as compressed file, standard WAV file, etc., but to no avail.)

I've contacted IK Multimedia support, assuming it to be an authorization issue. However, they told me that they've never heard of anything such as the problem that I've been having, because if it weren't authorized properly, I would have been getting the "white noise" during playback in PowerTracks as well.

I just sent them a response asking if I should try uninstalling Amplitube and then reinstalling it. But just in case that doesn't work, does anyone here have any ideas or suggestions? This is sooooo frustrating--I've been waiting for years to get that perfect "surf guitar" sound. . . and now this!
