I agree. The full version of BB has well over 3000+ styles of music....and as Mike pointed out, just the ballads in rock are in the hundreds..... add to that the country styles and you have easily twice that number. Probably close to 500 possible styles that might work.

The only way to find out is to audition them, and the new 2014 version has a preview feature to make that job easier.

If you're looking to make a cover of those tunes, BB/RB will get you close but it won't have it sounding exactly like that.

Think of BB/RB as a foundation upon which you can build. It may give you the rhythm section but the synths I heard in some of them would have to be played in real time on a keyboard..... But that's the kind of stuff I do with my tunes..... I use BB/RB to write/compose the song and then add my live tracks to it to finish up.

Oh... and I have found that some musical styles are not anywhere to be found (by me, as of yet) in the style list for BB/RB..... but you have the ability as well to make a style if it doesn't exist.

Add nothing that adds nothing to the music.
You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both.

The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
