Yeah, it's simply part of the install. You have the option to register on or off line. I plugged in the network cable because that is the faster no hassle way..... when it was done, I unplugged it.
I have run this DAW off line since I built it. I have no problems from running off line. Matter of fact, I have less issues this way..... no annoying virus scanner updates or windows updates, and very little chance to "catch" something bad.....It's a 100% music machine and nothing else.
