Beautiful player. I have his albums Live and Circles which features him and Don Thompson and Terry Clark who are also great players. I also have an album with his wife Jane singing on it, but darned if I can find it.
In terms of losing musicians I recently lost a long time friend, and musician named Albert"Cookie" L'Ecluse. He was a drummer, We played together in a number of bands for years. In his later years he played in a band the "Misfits". Trumpet player 89, piano 89, trombone/vocalist 96, and Cookie the drummer 97. He passed away luckily after just parking his Hummer downtown, yes I said Hummer. I can only hope that I can live a full life that long.DennisD
