Hi Ian,

Realtracks start to introduce noticeable sonic artifacts when they're stretched any more than 5 - 10 bpm lower. While wav versus wma might impact on this to some extent, the stretching that you've done is significant and would still be noticeable.

Have you tried using the track in "Double time"? This should give you a better result. "Double time" means it will take twice as long to play it (i.e. will slow it down).



The optimum tempo setting for a RT at 110 in double time would be 110/2 = 55 bpm. 65 bpm is not too far from that and it's also compressed rather than stretched to the new tempo. Compression always sounds better.
