I've noticed a difference since I've upgraded to BIAB 2014 when I drag and drop files into my DAW (Reaper). The method I've always used is to go into a split screen scenario and manually drag and drop each .wav track from BIAB into Reaper. As soon as I drop the BIAB file into Reaper, the "busy" icon comes up (Windows 7) and does its thing for about 1-3 minutes - and then the new track pops up in Reaper and Reaper is ready to go.

Before BIAB 2014, BIAB was immediately ready for me to drag and drop the next track into Reaper as soon as Reaper indicated the prior track transfer was complete.

Since BIAB 2014 however the "busy" icon continues to whirl in BIAB for another 1-3 minutes before disappearing and indicating BIAB is ready for new action.

Effectively this is doubling the time it takes me to drag and drop my tracks into Reaper. I don't have a clue what BIAB 2014 is doing in that extra time it's consuming.

I'm wondering if I have something checked or unchecked within BIAB that's asking BIAB to render each track to a second mystery location after the initial render into Reaper. I haven't found any folders full of .wav files, (other than the ones I've purposely wanted to send tracks into...)

I've tried it with the Opt/Pref/DAW Plugin/"Use a custom folder location for the Drag and Drop" box both checked and unchecked - and either way BIAB still continues on for 2-3 minutes after Reaper finishes with the DnD process.

I also tried dropping the master track into Reaper as separate files and it took over 25 minutes for the 7 BIAB .wav files to transfer into Reaper and for BIAB to return to the ready state. Does this time frame sound typical?

It was a lot faster for me with BIAB 2012! Otherwise I LOVE BIAB 2014!

Thanks for any helpful thoughts/comments you may have.
