Holy crap, you kiddin me?

I'm very careful anyway and don't visit those sites but at the office we're getting an avalanche of malware email attachments and everybody knows not to open them but still, one mistake by somebody and it could be bad. Our server is backed up on a daily basis but what a total pia if we ever got something like this.

I've had several conversations with our IT people about those emails and I'm told there's nothing we can do because they're using spoofing accounts so our email client thinks they're real.

I'm seeing legitimate client names or very close approximations to them, so called official IRS communications and other gov agencies. Some of them are the obvious ones we all laugh about but others look very close to being real. It's getting bad out there folks.

At home I find myself going to a few of the big well known commercial sites and forums like this one and that's pretty much it for my online activities away from the office.

After the Target hack one of the panel talk shows were saying maybe it's time to go back to cash at stores.
