I got a somewhat cheap laptop for Christmas, a Toshiba satellite with i3 and four gigs ram. Question is, why am I having lag time with the metering, is it because I have an i3 or the four gigs of ram, or is there some other way to get rid of the lag? Thanks When you say 'Lag time with the metering' do you mean the Metronome or do you mean the Recorded music is out of time compared the to song itself? This could be related to using MME vs ASIO drivers for the Audio. Probably the computer is OK, but run DPC Latency Checker and a good benchmark speed test and perhaps report back the results.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track.
