The rest of us did not know that until the problem was solved. Only you knew that. I only posted to correct the impression that the DPC Latency Checker is useless in Windows 8 for any purpose.
You will see that I never said that the DPC Latency Checker was the solution here. However, quickly running it to rule out other causes would have done no harm.
Yes Matt, I agree. I was the one who suggested these tests, including possibly ASIO drivers. My thinking, and not knowing enough detail of the problem, was to try to assist by performing some tests and going through the process of elimination. The Latency Checker test certainly wouldn't have hurt. Appreciate the clarification with running with Windows 8 also. Thanks. Trev
