Most musicians who can site read a chord chart like BB gives you should be able to understand what it's saying. For those who don't read the chord charts often, it's pretty intuitive I think.
You could always write out Gm7 as G minor seventh. Sorry. But yeah, I think good players can figure this one out fairly easily.
