Last I checked, BIAB 2014 was shipping with Build #379. Go to Help, About and check yours. If it's not 380, go to the Support page and update to build #380.

A general technique whenever BIAB seems to not work correctly: Opt., Return to Factory Settings. However, as you already reinstalled, that had the same effect so won't help you this time.

Quick question: did you install to a folder other than /BB

Quick idea: depending on how you have set up your User Account Control, and assuming you are on Vista or later, try running BIAB As Administrator (right-click on the BIAB icon and choose).
