Once again....actually, no.
The reason to mix the tracks through the live PA is to achieve a mix that plays well on
that particular amp/EQ/speaker/sub setup. Not to 'judge' any 'mono characteristics' (whatever that means). The mix is played back in mono (with a few exceptions) for totally different reasons.
I do hope my argument is deemed 'valid' by the experts in residence.
