I like loops... you can do some neat things with them... they've been around a long time; but nobody came up with a truly innovative way to make recorded snippets loop in an intuitive and useful way until PGMusic introduced REAL TRACKS...
That's not quite true, a company by the name of SmartSound has a product that creates customizable songs out of loops, complete with variations, beginning and endings. It is generally used for creating sound-track music for film making, but can be used anywhere. There is a large library of royalty-free music available. The material comprises of full audio recordings. You just select the style and variations, specify the tempo and the desired length (hh:mm:ss:frames), and the complete song is generated that you can import into your own material. The results are of a very high standard.
