A Rhodes has a certain "floating" quality to it's sound.
I've never been a big synth lead fan, except for the Emerson Lake and Palmer stuff. The drum part was rather boring. I understand it was looped.... but hey, it's easy enough to add fills and stuff to spice it up a bit.
