Could you pls help me?
I try to set up the VST Synth. The Sampletank works fine with Bass/Piano/Guitar/Synth/Strings. However I have a problem with the Drum.
I use EZDrummer, but apparently BIAB does not recognize it.
So is there another drum sample that will surely work with BIAB?

Hi Fantasyvn,I have used both, EZDrummer and Addictive drums and they work fine. Do you have problems loading it or it won't play?

Hi Fantasy, As Mike says, EZ Drummer works fine. To get it to play in BIAB as a soft synth (I'm using BIAB 2014 to show this) ... 1. Open up the VST/DXi window by following steps #1 and #2 on the image below.  2. Select "Drums" (#1). Now click on the dropdown menu (#2) and select "EZDRUMMER" (#3). If EZDRUMMER is not there, select "Add VSTi Plugin" (#4).  Keep reading if you need to add EZDRUMMER to the VSTi menu list ... 3. After clicking on "Add VSTi" in step 2 above, loacate the file ezdrummer.dll. For me it's in "c:\program files\steinberg\vst plugins".  Select the dll file and then ok your way out of the dialogue box. When you get back to the VSTi menu, EZDrummer should now be available. Now it's simply a matter of selecting it and it should work (it does for me). Make sure you select a drumkit (#1) before you exit the VSTi menu.  All the best, Noel

Hi, Thank you for your kind replies. My ezdrummer.dll is located in both Program Files and Program Files (x86) . I use Windows 8 on a PC. After I choose the ezdrummer.dll, and get out of the VST plugin, nothing is changed. It still does not recognize my EZdrummer.

I suspect that the EZdrummer.dll that you need to choose is the one in the (x86) program files. As far as I'm aware, this is where 32-bit installations are located and BIAB needs the 32-bit version of EZdrummer. (I run a 32-bit operating system so it's slightly different for me.)

Hello,
the thread is older but I had the same problem with EZdrummer and Biab 2014. The plugin does not load correctly.
My solution:
Create or open a file named VSTPluginList.ini in the biab installation folder. Then add the following line:
EZDrummer 1.03=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugIns\ezdrummer.dll
then save the file and restart biab (if running).
Then the plugin displayed in the plugin list and it is useable.
Not sure the workaround works for you - for me it works.
