Hi.

I think this may end up as a wish list item but just wondered if there was a work around.

I have created a song in Realband and have entered the chords into the chordsheet and generated realtracks / realdrums. I don't need any midi.

I now want to be able to print out the song, with lyrics added so that I can sing along.

If I try to add lyrics to a non midi notation sheet, I get a response saying that lyrics cannot be added to an audio track.

So, I have created a blank midi track but the issue I now have is that it seems (I might be doing this wrong) that I have to have notes on the midi track to attach a syllable / word / line / paragraph to. I really don't want to have to try to type / play a melody line in the midi track and it won't allow me to attach lyrics to rests.

I could enter a token dummy note at the beginning of each bar (and have the track muted), I suppose, but would prefer a cleaner method. UPDATE: I tried this and it was not my best idea ... for a start, when you enter a lyric at bar 17 in this case, it jumps to bar 49 for some reason - meh. I can print to a PDF though and that will let me add text but not as good as the PDF obviously won't play the song ...

Anyone managed to overcome this problem or is free text for audio songs not developed yet.

Also, it would be great to be able to copy or export the chord sheet as a grid format to Word / Excel (or equivalent).

Cheers.
Mike.
