I have checked out the method you mentioned: very long-winded. I had to basically kill all the accompaniment instruments but the piano, because I could not bother to edit all the patterns for all the instruments. The guitar had 29 patterns,and I can't even select a bunch of patterns togheter,to select 'smooth voice leading'. Then,for some reason,the progression played back with smooth voice leading,but then I tried again and it did not,even thought all the patterns were edited with 'smooth' ] Frankly, I gave up.... I have also selected some newer style,but the result was still inconsistent A single button called 'smooth voice leading' that does just that for all the instruments,except the bass,would do. Saves a bunch of years
