The recording studio that I use uses ProTools. BIAB is my first venture into playing around with my own DAW-like software. Although BIAB is not strictly a DAW, it sounds like a lot of fun. I thought that I would buy the 2005 version to get my feet wet, and I can always upgrade. I bought an open box from an Amazon.com partner for around $18. That was truly a no-brainer.
