+1. Makes sense to me. I like the idea of checkmarks but I'd like to see the idea expanded.

Sometimes you may have a screen full of selections to choose from. Toggling between a "x" to reject, "?" for undecided and a checkmark for yes would help the user keep track of rejected styles, acceptable styles and selected styles.

If this was adapted on a per song basis a user would only have to audition styles once per song and easily determine multiple styles for possible use within a song. If an acceptable style has a particular midi or RealTrack for possible use within a song that instrument track will be easier to find again during the song production.
